Kevin & Teresa | Winter Wedding at the Liriodendron

Teresa & Kevin’s winter wedding, marks my 44th and final wedding of 2015- and I can’t think of a better way to end the year!

You may remember these two from their engagement session at the Liriodendron, earlier this year. Not only was their engagement session super sweet, but Kevin and Teresa also had a sweet & intimate winter wedding at the Liriodendron in Bel Air, MD, earlier this month.

Surrounded by 60 of their closest friends and family, these two said “I do” in front of the Liriodendron’s beautifully decorated fireplace. Their day was full of fun, laughter and love- and even with a *slight* delay in getting the ceremony started, everything turned out simply beautiful. From all of the winter inspired centerpieces to their elegant flowers, every aspect of their wedding was thoughtfully executed.

I started the day at their hotel, where Kevin and Teresa decided to spend the morning getting ready together. This is the 3rd wedding, that I’ve photographed this year, where the couple had chosen to get ready together, in the same room. And, I must say, I hope this is a trend that grows. It’s fantastic to see couples spend more of their wedding day together and I love witnessing the bond that two people have, long before they stand in front of their loved ones and pledge to spend a lifetime together.

I simply loved all of Teresa’s details. The soft gold and silver tones were perfect for a winter wedding! We only had a few minutes before the sun dipped down for the day, so we headed outside of the hotel for some photos. It is amazing what you can do with 15 minutes in a hotel parking lot… These two totally rocked it! Then, it was off to the Liriodendron for a super-sweet ceremony! There was a slight hiccup in the timeline, and Kevin & Teresa’s wedding actually ended up started about 30 mins later than planned. It was worth the wait though! I love that Kevin’s brother provided the ceremony music. Having lost a good bit of time from our timeline, we really had to hustle to get the rest of their photos done. This is why it is so important to hire a great team of wedding vendors. Terry, from Dean & Brown Catering and her staff worked extra hard to make sure everything was still able to get done. Thank goodness for such a great team!
