Weekend Recap!

Wow! This weekend was so much fun! Friday, I actually had the evening off, so a friend and I decided to take our little ones to the local park. It has been way too long since I’ve been off, *and* the weather has been nice enough, for us to spend some time on the playground. While there, I had fun testing out a new lens.

Courtney & Drew’s Baltimore Wedding

Then, Saturday was just fantastic! Courtney & Drew were married in a beautiful ceremony at St. Alphonsus Church in Baltimore, followed by a rockin’ reception at the Elkridge Club! I can honestly say that I don’t think I’ve ever seen a couple enjoy their wedding day as much as Courtney and Drew. I knew from our previous meetings, and their engagement session, that they were going to be a joy to work with, but I was still blown away by how relaxed and just stinking happy Courtney and Drew were all day. I was so lucky to have Brea, from Photography by Brea with me for the day, and between the ridiculously happy couple, the amazing weather and the stunning venue, we could not have had a better day. It was a great weekend to be a wedding photographer in Baltimore, that’s for sure!

A Day with the Hubs

Finally, on Sunday, I had my first weekend day off in weeks! It seems like I’ve had double header weddings for the entire month of May. My loving awesome husband, Jimmy, and I decided to take advantage of this anomaly, and drop our little guy off at Grandma’s so that we could spend the entire day together. We seriously have not been out as a couple, since our friend’s Christmas party, this past December (unless you count that time we went to buy an office chair), so this was a rare treat! Not only did we stuff ourselves with amazing sushi (and ate the meal without having to draw robots on the back of the placemat)…

You’ll have to excuse the iPhone photos. New paddle boarders + camera = not a good idea. (Which proved to be true as Jimmy must’ve fallen in the water 50 times!)

Phew, what a fun weekend! Now to prepare for a busy week this week. I’m excited to finally be photographing Arielle’s Bat Mitzvah portraits and reception, 2 engagement sessions and I’m also looking forward to second shooting with Brea this weekend. Have a great week!
