Weekend Recap | Baltimore Wedding Photographer
Gah! What an amazing weekend! This weekend was one of those weekends where I come home and count my blessings that I get to do what I do for a living. I absolutely LOVE being a wedding photographer and, as luck would have it, Baltimore is a fantastic city to be a wedding photographer! Every type of venue you could possibly wish for is within a few hour’s drive and I just love being able to photograph in so many amazing locations.
Weekend Recap | Baltimore Wedding Photographer
On Friday, I kicked off the weekend at the Baltimore Museum of Industry, second shooting with the super-fantasic Angie, of Angie Myers Photography. It has been a long time since I’ve photographed a wedding at the Baltimore Museum of Industry, and I forgot about what an awesome venue it is! Not only was Angie a blast to work with, but her couple was super-sweet and the weather was ah-mazing. I can’t share any of the wedding images just yet, but I can tell you that it was a photographer’s dream. Not to mention it was… So. Much. Fun. I can’t wait to share more!
Then, on Saturday, I *finally* got to photograph Maggie & Chris’ beautiful wedding at Swan Harbor Farm in Havre de Grace. The radar on Saturday morning showed thunderstorms starting from my arrival with Maggie straight through until an hour after the ceremony. I was totally bummed, as I packed my umbrella and rain shoes for the day, but we ended up with not a single drop of rain the whole night! Not only did the rain hold out, but Maggie & Chris had one of the sweetest, most genuine vow exchanges I think I’ve ever witnessed. If you don’t believe in soul mates, obviously you haven’t met these two.
And as if those images of Maggie & Chris aren’t enough to make you want to check back for their full blog post, I’ll leave you with this: This is the image of Maggie & Chris’ wedding rings… on top of the bag from the store where she bought her wedding gown.
I hope you had an awesome weekend!
