Weekend Recap | Baltimore Wedding Photographer
Weekend Recap | Baltimore Wedding Photographer
Ah, this weekend was something else! With all of the rain, it certainly was a crazy weekend to be a wedding photographer in Baltimore. First, on Friday, I actually spent working in the day working in the office and was finally able to edit the images I took after that crazy storm we had last week. Remember that one? The sky was crazy-pants orange & I seriously did not add any saturation to this image. I know, crazy-pants! After work, I decided to treat myself to a new “do”. Sorry, no image included… but I’m feeling fresh and ready for summer!
On Friday, I started watching the weather report, which I really try to not do before a wedding, because really, if it is going to rain, it is going to rain. However, I was holding out on hope that there might be a possibility that we would have a break in the storm for Kacey & Tony’s wedding at the Top of the Bay. Sadly, their ceremony was rained out, but we certainly made the best of it! There was even a brief break after the ceremony for us to grab some sweet couple’s portraits outside. Here are a few quick peeks from Kacey & Tony’s Top of the Bay wedding. If rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck for your marriage, Kacey & Tony have buckets of luck that will last them many, many years!
*side note: I took *3* pairs of shoes to this wedding, thinking I would need to change them at least once. Nope, I used all three! Phew!
Yesterday, I decided to just kick it around with Simon for a bit. I was actually able to take a nap (amazing) and then later we treated ourselves to a family dinner out. As an added bonus to an awesome weekend, while we were at dinner, we built this super cool Lego robot with our little man. Rain or not, it was a fantastic weekend! I can’t wait to share more with you next week!

It looks like things worked out well for your wedding on Saturday – Top of the Bay is beautiful and I can’t wait to see more from this lovely couple’s wedding!
And what is this nap business? ANOTHER nap? I don’t know what it is but I like it.
