Week 21 of My Project 52 Photography Challenge: Peaceful

I can’t believe that I am not quite half way through my Project 52 Photography Challenge. It certainly has been a challenge to keep up with shooting and blogging, but I guess that’s why they call it a photography *challenge*! I am still so glad that I took on this project 52, and I am hoping to be caught up with my blogging this week. Wedding season in Baltimore is well underway- so I have my work cut out for me!

Week 21 of My Project 52 Photography Challenge: Peaceful

boat at sunriseThere just isn’t anything more peaceful for me, than time spent spent on the water. Well, except maybe for watching an amazing sunrise on the water. Having been boating all of my life, I’m so thrilled that the weather in Baltimore is finally boating weather! I certainly hope to pass the love of boating, and being on the water, to my son. It is truly where I feel most at home and at peace. I’m so glad that we are able to go boating whenever we like and I’m also excited to start kyaking with Simon this year! If you don’t have access to a boat, but would still like to spend some quality time on the water, you can always rent a kayak! Whatever you do, take advantage of living in Maryland, and spend some time on our water.

I love this and couldn’t agree more. I miss going out on my dad’s boat! I’m so sad it’s gone.

You know what’s better than owning a boat? Having a friend with a boat! :) I so love being on the water too.
