Week 20 of My Project 52 Photography Challenge: Fragile
Phew, the past few weeks have been super busy around here. In the month of May, I photographed several engagements & family sessions as well as second shot 9 weddings! This girl needs a nap. While I haven’t been posting, I have not abandoned my Project 52 Photography Challenge, and I’m excited to finally catch up on blogging.
Week 20 of My Project 52 Photography Challenge: Fragile
I had always been a solid sleeper, getting 8-10 hours a night- regularly. I could sleep through pretty much anything and have managed to sleep through some pretty jarring events. However, once I became pregnant with our son, a solid night’s sleep became harder to come by. So much so, that from my second trimester, until about a year ago (read FOUR SOLID YEARS) I did not have a full 8 hours sleep- only averaging only 2-4 hours a night. Exhausted is an understatement.
I am happy to say that for the last year or so, my sleep has been much less fragile. I often get a solid 8 or more hours, but every night, when my head hits this pillow, I wonder what the night will bring. Hopefully my years as an insomniac are almost over!
If you missed it, be sure to check out week 19 on the blog!

June 4, 2015I’m so happy that over the last year you’ve been able to get more sleep and rest! I have a good friend who struggles from insomnia and it’s truly one of the most difficult things to endure!
