Throwback Thursday: Snowpocalypse 2010
Phew, it sure has been a while since I have blogged. The end of 2013 and the start of 2014 have kept me buried in work… which is fantastic (and better than being buried in snow), but it is hard to keep up with all of the blogging. I have a TON of work that I am dying to share with you… including a new logo that is in the works! (Stay tuned friends, stay tuned)
But, I had to take a break from the galleries and albums so we could flashback to this week in 2010. Do you remember what it was like 4 years ago today? Well, Baltimore was under about 2+ feet of snow. I remember it well as I was 20 weeks pregnant at the time and eagerly awaiting my gender ultrasound. It was snowed out 3 times before I threatened to walk the 3 miles to radiology to have it done! While we were snowed in for the 3 or 4 days, I managed to waddle outside with my camera for a few shots of the snow. I couldn’t go far (not sure how I thought I was walking to radiology) but I did manage to make it to the yard.
For reference, here is my 6’4″ husband, in front of our 6′ privacy fence…
And, of course, a few shots from out front…
While I was hanging out front, our little dog, Nyles, couldn’t wait to come out too! Hmmm, where is Nyles, anyway?
So, while I’ve been a wee bit frustrated with all of the cold, snowy, icy weather we’ve been having, I guess I just need to be grateful that we don’t have 2′ of snow! Do you have any cool pictures or stories from the great blizzard of 2010? Better yet, do you have any great pictures from some place warm and sunny?
