Stephanie & Justin | Musket Ridge Golf Club Wedding
A sprained ankle, a wicked storm, & a spring heatwave were not match for Stephanie & Justin’s Musket Ridge Golf Club wedding! Stephanie & Justin can roll with the punches, that’s for sure. Upon checking in with Stephanie, a few days before their wedding, she informed me that she had just sprained her ankle! What bride wants to be hobbling around on her wedding day? But Stephanie took things in stride- resting as she could and icing her ankle as much as possible. All of the ice and rest were worth it though, as she surprising danced the night away… in heels! #superwoman

Then, there was the heat… oh the heat! We did our best not to melt, but phew, who knew it could get that hot in May? And then, just as the heat and ice were behind us, one crazy storm rolled in. We snuck out quickly to grab some photos with the dark, stormy sky, but the close lighting had us hurrying back inside rather quickly. At Musket Ridge, we were up fairly high, overlooking the golf course- so we had a bird’s eye view of the storm, and it was just amazing. You really got to see the power of the storm- watching the trees bend and the lights flicker. The storm was so powerful that we would even lose power for a few seconds, here and there. But the DJ always got it going again, and the dancing never stopped. It was quite the adventurous day, to say the least.
But, that just shows you how much these two are perfect for each other. Because the heat… the spraned ankle… the storm… none of it mattered. All that mattered were that these two were with each other, and the celebration went on. Surrounded by the people that love them the most, Stephanie and Justin had the most perfect day and I can’t wait to see what else life has in store for these two awesome people. Congratulations, Stephanie & Justin!
