  1. What about black & white vs. color photography?

All of the images that are taken during your session will be captured in color. Then, I will consider which ones will best lend themselves to black & white. We can discuss your preferences for black & white vs. color photography, and incorporate a balance that works for you.

  2. What if some of your equipment stops working?

I have backup equipment. And yes, I have backup for my backup. You can rest assured that I will come to your event, fully equipped with ample camera bodies, lenses, flashes and the other necessities needed to provide you with the best photographic experience!

  3. Do you provide an option for a second photographer?

Absolutely! And, I highly recommend including one in your coverage. Since no photographer can be in two places at once, having a second photographer means that you will get full coverage of your celebration. A second photographer is available for any Mitzvah collection.

  4. How many images will we receive and soon will we be able to see our photos?

Depending on the amount of coverage you choose, you can expect to receive about 200-500 lightly-retouched images, in a private, password-protected gallery, within 2-3 weeks of your celebration.

  5. Will we receive high-resolution files?

Of course! All of my collections include instant access to the high-resolution images from your final image gallery. Each image will be lightly edited for proper color correction & exposure. Additional retouching is available, upon request, at an hourly rate.

  7. What if we don’t see a collection that matches what we are looking for?

The Mitzvah collections that are available are simply starting points. Since each family is unique, a custom collection can be designed just for you! I am happy to discuss with you the type of coverage you are looking for, and then work with you to put together a collection that best fits your needs.

  8. We just want portraits photographed and not the celebration. What are our options?

I am certainly available to do just portraits! Please contact me directly and I will be happy to help you.

  9. Do you offer albums?

You bet I do! And, quite frankly, I can’t think of a better way to display and keep these important memories. After all, how easy is it for you to view your parents’ VHS wedding video, now? Or, how about those images you had on that disk, from just a few years ago? Technology changes fast; and when your son or daughter want to show their Mitzvah images to their grandkids in 50 years, they won’t know what to do with a DVD or a Flash Drive, but they will certainly be able to reminisce over their album!

  10. Will you travel?

Heck yes, I will! I’ve traveled close to home… from the Eastern Shore to Pennsylvania, and as far away as Key West, Florida, & Maui, Hawaii… not to mention many places in-between! I love traveling for my clients! Of course, with Mitzvahs outside of the Baltimore/Annapolis area, some travel fees may apply.

  11. Are you insured?

You bet! I have both liability and equipment insurance, and it is highly suggested that you only consider hiring event professionals who are properly insured. In fact, many venues require all of your vendors to have adequate insurance. Be sure to check with all of your vendors, to make sure they are properly licensed and insured.

  12. Why should we hire a professional?

Well, just remember that after the food is gone, the glow sticks have lost their glow and your teenager is off to college, all that you will have left to remember this day are your photographs. It is an important day… entrust it to a professional!
