Mike & Lexi | Ellicott City Engagement Session

I was so excited when Mike and Lexi asked to have their session in the historic town of Ellicott City. In all of the years that I have been photographing couples, I have not once had a session there, so this session was a first for me. Spoiler alert: I loved it there! Mike and Lexi were so adventurous and we had a ton of fun roaming the city and taking advantage of all of it’s charm.

While on our way, we wandered by a novelty store, where they saw this cool toy shark. Both being huge JAWS fans, we had to incorporate it into their session!

She is stunning. Just stunning.

Seriously, how cute are these two???

Lexi has such a stunning ring (great job, Mike) and I couldn’t wait to photograph it. We saw these cool dishes in front of one of the shops and I knew it was just perfect!

Later, when I saw the moss, I knew it wanted to photograph it again.

One of Lexi’s favorite movies is The Little Mermaid… so how fitting is this??? I *may* have had the song stuck in my head the whole way home…

Did I mention that these two met at one of their favorite band’s concerts? Well, they did and I just LOVE that they brought along some concert t-shirts for their session!

I was hoping for an amazing sunset, and unfortunately, it didn’t happen, but we still made use of some gorgeous light and then took advantage city for some night shots

 Lexi and Mike, thanks so much for finally getting me to Ellicott City for a session. I hope you had as much fun as I did!! I can’t wait until your wedding in December!
