Melissa & Will | Corpus Christi Wedding in Baltimore
Goodness, where do I begin?? It was such an honor to photograph Melissa & Will’s fairytale, winter wedding at the Corpus Christi Parish in Baltimore. Melissa happens to be my cousin, and since she and Will met in high school, Will has been part of the family for years! I was so excited when they asked me to photograph their wedding and I was even more excited when I learned about all of the fun details they had put into their big day.
For as long as I can remember, Melissa has loved everything Disney. In fact, Will actually popped the question while on a trip to Disney last year! So, it naturally only seemed fitting that Melissa & Will have their fairytale, Disney-inspired wedding this winter!
We started the day at the Hotel at the Arundel Preserve where Melissa & Will got ready. I loved, loved, LOVED Melissa’s shoes! Stunning!
Melissa’s gown was not only fit for a princess, it had POCKETS! You just can’t go wrong with pockets!
After we left the hotel, we headed over to the Corpus Christi Parish in Baltimore. Will is a graphic designer and he designed all of the wedding stationary, including the programs!
The wedding limo never arrived to pick Melissa up from the hotel. Thank goodness her dad had stayed behind and was able to get Melissa and her bridesmaids to the ceremony! The wedding actually started about 30 mins late, but it was obviously worth the wait!
Heather grabbed this awesome image from the balcony
After we finished up family portraits, I got a chance go hang out with the newly-weds and their bridal party!
The guys all had Maryland socks, to compliment the red bridesmaids’ shoes. Of course, one groomsmen was rockin’ some cowboy boots, so his socks are a mystery!
Melissa is the second of 4 sisters! Here they are… in order, of course!
The flowers were stunning
I love the wraps that Melissa picked out for her bridesmaids. They went perfectly with the black dresses and red shoes! Since there are 4 sisters, they often refer to themselves as #1, #2… and so on. Melissa is sister #2 and each of her sisters stood in as a bridesmaid and each sister’s bouquet had their number in roses! Such a fun nod to their family nicknames.
Like a princess… Just stunning!
I love these two!
After we finished with Melissa & Will’s portraits, we headed over to Preston Hall for a Maryland/Christmas/Disney Inspired Wedding. I love the Maryland State Guest “book”!
Okay, so when Melissa & Will first mentioned that they were having a Disney-inspired wedding, I was pretty curious as to how it was all going to come together. Well, it came together perfectly! I normally don’t show each centerpiece, but it would be a crime to not show you each one of these. Each table was inspired by a different Disney movie, and I can’t tell you how excited I was that several of my favorite made the cut. The UP table might just be my favorite!
I’m also a sucker for Toy Story!
Melissa has been a dancer, for as long as I can remember, but this dance had to be my favorite! These two are just so sweet together.
After the first dance, there were several touching speeches
And then it was time for Will to dance with his Mom and Melissa with her Dad.
Jacob kept the dance floor going all night! So much fun!
Of course, before the evening was over, I stole Melissa & Will for a few last images in the streets of Baltimore!
Melissa & Will- Congratulations on your marriage! I’m not sure I’ve ever met two people that were more meant for each other and I can’t wait to see what your lives have in store for you.
