Mattie & Cole | Centennial Park Sunset Engagement Session
I first “met” with Mattie & Cole a few months ago, about their plans for their micro wedding at their new home, next year. I knew right away, that I was going to have a lot of fun with these two. We took a chance, and scheduled their Centennial Park sunset engagement session for the first week of August… in Maryland. I think we all expected weather much like today- hot, humid and not at all enjoyable. But we were pleasantly surprised by a beautiful evening and an even more beautiful sunset. It was the perfect summer day.
But even if it had been hot and humid and stupid gross outside, it still would’ve been awesome, because Mattie & Cole are just delightful people to be around. It’s been a while since I’ve been to Centennial Park, so the 4 of us walked the loop and chatted a bit between spots. And in doing so, I learned some interesting things about Mattie and Cole. For starters, Mattie has an amazing skill of identifying plants- especially ones that are invasive to our area. Seriously? How cool is that? Skills that Mattie and Cole do not possess?.. Not endlessly laughing together and definitely not ‘almost’ kissing. Luckily those lacking skills made for a super-fun session.
