Maryland Wedding Photographer | Weekend Recap
Wow, what an amazing weekend to be a wedding photographer in Maryland!
This weekend was simply full of awesome! On Friday, I started the day with my boy at Rodgers Farm, or as he likes to call it, “the pumpkin patch”. We had a fantastic time enjoying all of the activities and going on the hayride. If you know Simon, you know he loves all things halloween. He will even tell you that halloween beats out Christmas and his birthday, combined!
So, for the past two years, we would come here several times a week and spend the day together. This year, with him now being a full time kindergartener, I knew we would only have the one day to come to the pumpkin patch. I’m so glad it was such a great day! (Please excuse the iPhone photos!)
When we got home, Simon made his first scarecrow. He was pretty proud!
Not-so-bright, but very early on Saturday, we were up for some hockey with the Baltimore Saints! Go Saints!!!!!
Then, after the Baltimore Running Festival was clear, I helped Emily Chastain Photography photograph a beautiful wedding at The Grand, in downtown Baltimore. The weather and the wedding was perfect, and, like any good Italian family- I was sent home with treats!
After an amazing day on Saturday, I woke up early to meet with Diana & Tim for a sunrise engagement session in Annapolis. Sadly, when I arrived, I found that the boat show was still downtown and we had no access to the docks. Luckily, I arrived early enough to come up with a new plan and, quite frankly, I think the new plan worked out even better! These two were such troopers in the cold and I can’t wait to share more with you next week. They totally rocked this sunrise!
Then, after a quick shower and a power nap, it was off to Gaithersburg to meet up with Kelly & Craig at Seneca Creek State Park! Between Kelly’s ridiculously gorgeous hair & eyes, the light, the background and their undeniable love for each other, this session was the perfect way to cap off the weekend!
Basically, this weekend was a bucket of awesome and well, me and my gas tankĀ are on empty! I think I might take a longer nap today!

October 19, 2015LOVE those sneak peeks! You’ve been seriously killing it lately! I knew that Simon preferred Halloween over Christmas and his birthday but I didn’t know he liked it better than those two COMBINED!
