Marcela & Mauricio | Maryland Micro Wedding
Marcela & Mauricio had the most spectacular day for their Maryland micro wedding, earlier this month. I don’t know what kind of magic Marcela possess, but she somehow “knew” it was going to rain on their initial wedding date, and asked to move her wedding out a few weeks. The stars aligned, everyone was able to switch dates; and, on their most beautiful of wedding days, I couldn’t help but laugh when thinking what a soggy mess their original date had been.
But their actual wedding wasn’t exactly dry- there were tears. So many happy tears throughout Marcela and Mauricios’s wedding. It’s no secret that I’ve fallen in love with these smaller, more intimate weddings, and I think this is one of the biggest reasons why- it just seems like families are able to be more involved, more emotionally invested and more present. I think Marcela’s mom must’ve wiped every cheek in attendance. You could just feel the love for these two radiating off of everyone and I’m so incredibly happy for them.
