Macro Photography | Ice
As you know, I’m not much of a fan for winter weather… or the snow… or the ice. But, I just can’t seem to help myself from wanting to photograph it! This morning I woke up to a large sheet of ice, melting and getting ready to slide off of my awning. It was so beautiful, that I couldn’t help but grab my camera and my trusty Nikon 60mm Micro lens. I spent about 15 minutes photographing the different ice formations and managed to get a few really neat images. And you know what, I’m glad I did. Because no sooner did I turn off my camera, did the sheet of ice smash to the ground… taking all of its beauty with it.
So while I’m sure I’m not alone in longing for some warm, sunny weather, at least we can all enjoy some of the beauty in winter…
