Lighthouse Sound Wedding | Emily & Casey
Emily & Casey met many years ago in Ocean City, MD and so it only seemed fitting that they were married in a beautiful ceremony at The Lighthouse Sound in Ocean City, MD.
We started the day at the beautiful, bay-front home of Emily’s mother. While there was a slight rain outside, there was tons of light and warmth inside, as Emily and her girls got ready. I just loved how personal all of Emily’s details were. She wore the same necklace that her great-grandmother wore on her wedding day as well as her grandmother’s antique ring. All of the details went perfectly with her elegant lace gown.
Just Stunning…
Emily’s earrings were a custom-designed gift, from a family friend. Aren’t they gorgeous?
Emily’s grandmother’s ring
These adorable clutches and Lilly Pulitzer bracelets made the perfect bridesmaids’ gifts, as did these awesome ties for the groomsmen, from Etsy.
After an afternoon of rain, and with just minutes before the ceremony was supposed to begin, the call was made to go forward with the ceremony outside. After-all, we aren’t going to melt, right? But, just as the ceremony started, the rain lifted and Emily and Casey had the beautiful, DRY, outdoor ceremony they had hoped for.
After the ceremony, we took a few fun photos with the bridal party
Then, it was off around the beautiful grounds of the Lighthouse Sound for couples’ portraits. We were lucky enough to have stormy skies, without the rain!
Then we took the golf carts down to the beach for these sweet shots
After we finished portraits, it was back up to the reception, for a full night of fun and dancing!
The room looked AMAZING. Emily and her mother designed all of the centerpieces and each table was named after a restaurant in Ocean City. The Lighthouse Sound made sure that each detail was put together perfectly.
Congrats, Emily and Casey! May you have many, many happy years together!
