Camden Yards Engagement | Sarah & Chris
I can’t even begin to tell you just how much I adore working with Sarah & Chris. I knew from our first meeting that these two would be a blast to work with, and they certainly did not disappoint! The only thing sweeter than these two themselves, is their absolutely fantastic engagement story. Brace yourselves, folks, for some serious creativity and sweetness! Are you ready?
You see, both of these two are serious Orioles fans and they enjoy heading to Camden Yards for the game whenever they can. One particular week, Sarah and Chris had planned to go to an Orioles game with a group of friends. It was supposed to rain the night of the game, and Sarah considered staying home and dry, but her friends convinced not to worry about a game delay and come on out for a great night at the park!
However, once they got there, Chris told Sarah that he really wanted to do a caricature picture. She was a little hesitant, but agreed. And, with all of their friends waiting and watching, Chris sat first for his drawing and then Sarah sat for hers. Sarah said that she was a little suspicious when the guy only took five minutes with Chris, but She was sitting there for ten minutes. Finally when he was done, their two good friends, Heather and Sam, were standing in front of Sarah with their phones ready to take a picture. The caricature artist looked at Chris and said, “are you ready?” Chris shook his head then the artist turned the caricature around. Sarah looked to see that it read “Will you marry me,” and Chris was down on one knee. Spoiler alert: she said “Yes”!!
Major props to Chris for planning such a creative, fun and thoughtful proposal to Sarah. Not only will they always have such a sweet story of their engagement, but they will also have the fun caricature to hang in their home.
So, with all of this magical fun at Camden Yards, it only seemed fitting that we start their session at, you guessed it, Camden Yards!
After hanging out at the yard for a bit, we headed over to Federal Hill, for some more sweet photos of these two!
I just love Sarah’s ring!
Sarah & Chris, thank you so much for having photograph such a fun session with you. I can’t wait for your wedding next year at the Elkridge Furnace Inn
