Baltimore AMP: Adventures for the Cure Bike Race
So, a few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of spending a beautiful spring morning at Patapsco State Park photographing The Adventures for the Cure bike race. For more information on Adventures for the cure, click here.
Baltimore Art and Music Project was there to support the cause. We set up a stand, gave away some goodies and provided some live music for the after-race festivities. I had a lot of fun photographing this event, met some super nice people, and learned a bit about biking. Perhaps the hubs and I will get some bikes and try some of that ‘outdoor activity’ stuff.
Ever since my trip down 95/memory lane, I have been doing a lot more with timed exposures and motion. Here are a few of my favorites from the bike race…
Chris and his lovely wife, Erin, were helping direct the racers at the event. They were nice enough to let me camp out with them for a few, teach me a bit about bikes, and pose for a pic. Thanks again for the advice guys!
Of course, the Baltimore AMP set up a table and had some great info and goodies to pass out…
We ended the day with some great food and a rockin’ performance by Mandy and her band Goodbye Skyline…
