Ashely and Robert’s Wedding: The Church of the Immaculate Conception in Towson
I’m excited to be finally catching up on some blogging. And so, I bring to you… Ashley and Robert’s wedding!!
Ashley and Robert initially contacted me almost two years prior to their big day and I immediately fell in love with them! These are two of the sweetest, most in love people I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. If you want to see just how awesome these two are- be sure to check out their engagement session from last year.
The day started at Blondeez Hair Salon, where I met Ashley and her girls.
The staff here was so warm and welcoming and I fell totally in love with their host!Next, I met up with Ashley at her family home in Baltimore County. Her dad had this fantastic pile of firewood, which I could not help but incorporate into her photos. Seriously, how beautiful is this girl? While I was having fun hanging with Ashley, Nick met up with Robert and the guys for some pre-ceremony shots. He grabbed this awesome shot of Robert’s custom cuff links.Robert and his best men.The ceremony was held at the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Thank you Nick for these fantastic shots of the grounds! How beautiful is this Church? I just LOVE it!!!
Ashley is hearing impaired, and as a surprise to their guests, Robert signed his vowels to her. Goosebumps… yep!Another tender shot by Nick…
Notice anything interesting about this line up? Yes folks, that is Daniel, Ashley’s brother and MAN of honor! After the ceremony, we were off to Jarrettsville Garden for the reception. As soon as we arrived, we could see storm clouds rolling in… so, we had to work quickly! Ashley and Robert were such troopers!
Sterling Caterers of Jarrettsville put on the event, and they were fantastic to work with! We had just beat the rain headed back inside, but while we were getting our party on- the awesome catering staff noticed this rainbow outside and let us know so that we could sneak back out and grab this quick shot!Once we were back inside and dry, we really got to get our party on!!One of the things I love most about my job, is the people that I get to meet. Its pretty cool really, total strangers inviting you to share some of the most intimate and special moments of their loves. I’ve been lucky enough to have the pleasure of working with Ashley and Robert for two years now, and I’m not going to lie, I’m pretty sad to see it come to an end. Ashley and Robert- congrats to you on your beautiful marriage. Thank you for inviting Nick and I to share your big day with you. All the best!!!!
