I’ve been looking forward to Michelle and Alan’s Patterson Park engagement session, for a while now. I first met these two over the winter,  and I knew right away that I wanted to work with them! Their connection is not something you see all of the time- it goes deeper, I think, than most. It’s clear from the moment you meet them, that Michelle and Alan are in sync in a way that is so rare to see- and it is an amazing thing to witness. Sometimes you can just tell when two people are simply just meant to be with each other- and that is something you see in Michelle and Alan.

Their engagement is nothing short of a fairytale. So, if any of you out there are wondering “how can I propose to my love in a unique and incredibly personal way?”; well, I suggest you take a card from Alan. Alan and Michelle are gamers- board gamers. They love board games, and one of their favorites is a game called Pandemic Legacy. So did Alan simply propose one night while playing their favorite game? Not quite. Not Alan. When an Alan finds his Michelle- you go all the way with the awesome.

Alan had special game pieces made (see below) and then, amazing Alan took it further and ordered new game cards, (printed from China, no less, so that they would perfectly replicate the existing game cards). And on those cards, were clues to his proposal, and then Michelle was presented with a ring and promise. (I know, I have goose bumps too.)
