Simon’s birthday is coming up in a few weeks, and it seems that he has recently hit another growth spurt. These growth spurts always amaze me. He is our only child and, while I love seeing the young man that he is growing into, I just wish I could freeze time and keep him little forever.

I know it won’t be much longer until he is driving… off to college… and then married one day. But for now, I am just soaking in these sweet little moments with our little guy… in his tattered spaceman pajamas… he doesn’t even need to stand on his tippy toes to reach the sink, anymore!

Seriously, time… slow down!

    He’s getting so big!! I haven’t had a Simon date in a long time. We need to change that.
